Project Overview
The Goeglein Road Bridge Superstructure Replacement is a federally funded bridge improvement project located on Goeglein Road over Bullerman Drain in Fort Wayne, Indiana. A&Z Engineering is providing comprehensive construction inspection services on behalf of the City of Fort Wayne, supporting project delivery from early construction through completion.
Construction Inspection Services
As the construction inspection consultant, A&Z Engineering is responsible for overseeing construction activities to ensure compliance with contract documents, plans, specifications, and applicable INDOT and LPA requirements. Services include:
- Daily on-site inspection and documentation
- Monitoring contractor operations and sequencing
- Verification of materials, quantities, and construction methods
- Coordination with City staff, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Construction progress tracking and reporting to support pay estimates and project records
Early construction activities have included installation of timber piles for falsework, establishing the foundation for upcoming superstructure replacement work.
