Mishawaka Avenue Streetscape Improvements and Lane Reduction

A&Z Engineering provided engineering support for the Mishawaka Avenue Streetscape Improvements in South Bend, Indiana. The project focused on enhancing corridor safety and functionality through roadway and pedestrian-oriented improvements within an established urban environment.

Improvements along the corridor included roadway upgrades, sidewalk and pedestrian enhancements, and coordination within a constrained right-of-way. A&Z supported the project through design coordination and construction-phase involvement, working closely with the City and project partners to help ensure improvements were implemented efficiently and in accordance with project goals.

The completed streetscape supports safer travel for all users while contributing to the long-term vitality of the surrounding neighborhood.
