Center Street Reconstruction
Waterloo, Indiana
A&Z Engineering partnered with the Town of Waterloo Redevelopment Commission and Town Council to improve Center Street from U.S. 6 to S. Wayne Street/CR 427.
The completed project included milling and resurfacing, new curb and gutter, full-depth pavement patching, drainage improvements, ADA-compliant curb ramps, concrete driveway approaches, and site restoration. New and replacement sidewalks improve pedestrian connectivity to the historic Waterloo Train Station, Francis Thomson Memorial Park, and the DeKalb County Trail.
Together, these improvements provide a smoother roadway, improved accessibility, and stronger connections between several important community destinations.
