Worden Rd. Bridge

A&Z Engineering provided full design services for the replacement of a deteriorating box culvert on Worden Road with a new prestressed concrete box beam bridge. The new 49-foot single-span bridge, 39 feet wide, is supported on steel H-pile end bents, enhancing safety and long-term performance along this rural two-lane roadway in Allen County. The structure spans the Hamm Interceptor Ditch, replacing a culvert with cracked wingwalls and braced abutments. The project was constructed in the Summer 2025 to improve drainage, stability, and roadway access.
