A&Z Awarded Design of Portage Mall Parking Lot and Alleyway
Project Spotlights
We’re excited to announce that A&Z Engineering has been selected to lead the design for the Portage Mall Parking Lot and Alleyway Reconstruction Project in Portage, Indiana.
This revitalization effort will include rebuilding the parking lot and alleyway, expanding sidewalks to improve walkability, and upgrading lighting and drainage systems to create a safer, more welcoming environment for visitors and businesses alike. The project also focuses on enhancing pedestrian access, ensuring ADA compliance, and preparing the area for future outdoor dining and public use.
Our team will provide a full range of design-phase services, including site evaluations, surveying, civil site layout, and construction documentation. Our partner for this project is Advanced Engineering Services, providing geotechnical investigation. We’re also coordinating closely with city officials, utility providers, and property owners to keep the project moving smoothly toward a planned construction start in 2026.
