A&Z Survey Crew Continues Work on Allen County Section Corners

A&Z Engineering is proud to support Allen County’s Section Corner Perpetuation Project, working to recover, mark, and record original section corners—survey monuments that are vital to accurate land and infrastructure planning.

Today, our field team was onsite at Coldwater Road and Corbin Road to finalize one of these key corner monuments. These century-old markers anchor legal surveys, roadway alignment, stormwater modeling, and right-of-way boundaries—every piece of modern public infrastructure relies on them.

Allen County Surveyor’s office aims to document 5% of all section corners annually; this long-term effort preserves survey legacy and keeps important records accessible for public and private use.
