Fort Wayne Taylor-Hale Sewer Separation

Fort Wayne Taylor-Hale Sewer Separation

The Taylor-Hale Sewer Separation Phase I project is part of the City of Fort Wayne's Long Term Control Plan CSO Control Measure #6 to complete partial sewer separation. This phase of the Control Plan will disconnect existing storm sewer facilities in southwest Fort Wayne from the existing combined sewer system and pick up storm water from adjacent residential areas. These separate storm water flows will be conveyed to the St. Mary's River via a new 48" storm sewer and outfall near the Hale Avenue bridge. A rain garden, infiltration swale and green infrastructure elements are incorporated into the project to help meet water quality standards.

Total improvements, approximately: $2.1 MILLION
