Ludwig Rd. Relocation project is officially complete! Ribbon cutting and official oppening of Ludwig Rd. and Oakbrook Pkwy took place early spring of 2023 and landscaping was completed this summer. We are appreciative of all the people who had a hand in making this much needed improvement, including the patience of surrounding businesses and residents.
The project includes two new intersections:
- Roundabout at the intersection of Oakbrook Pkwy. And Ludwig Rd.
- Signalized intersection at Coldwater Rd. and the newly constructed section of Oakbrook Pkwy.
Additional design elements include:
- Addition of pedestrian pathway
- Curb and gutter with storm drainage
- Detention basin
- Utility duct bank
- Green infrastructure, bio-swales
- Landscaping at the roundabout
- Street lighting
- Pavement markings
- Decorative retaining wall with railing for pedestrian/motorist safety
