Antwerp Road Bridge

A&Z provided the engineering services for the replacement of the existing Allen County Bridge #116016 over the Hamm Interceptor Ditch. The existing structure displayed signs of substantial deterioration with very little useful life remaining. The structure was replaced with a three-span continuous concrete span structure. The substructure is comprised of end bents and piles on circular column pier bents on piles. The bridge width was widened from the existing 20-ft to 39-ft and tapered to meet the existing roadway outside the bridge limits. The bridge spans are approximately 26-ft, 32-ft, and 26-ft with a total span of 86-ft.
