A&Z offers underground utilities and infrastructure services for its surrounding communities. As the aging underground infrastructure deteriorates further, many communities are working towards necessary or even mandated improvements. In the past several years, communities with combined sewers overflow (CSO), must find solutions to this problem to meet EPA requirements and avoid violations. Additional components of these projects provide opportunities to integrate green infrastructure. Green elements may include rain gardens, bio-swales, vegetated swales, infiltration swales, and porous pavements. A&Z has expanded its experience with subsurface infrastructures by providing services in varied project types, including storm sewer separation, combined sewer overflow (CSO) reduction, CSO relief sewers, and water main replacement.
